I've had the pleasure of seeing Seasick Steve play live. He is a fantastic guitarist. As well as the now legendary 3-string guitar another guitar he plays is this little beat-up parlor guitar with a pick-up screwed across the sound hole. It's got cracks in the body and looks like a piece of junk but in Seasick's hands it has an immense sound. I was also surprised to see that he plays mainly with the tips of his fingers - no plectrums or picks.
