FREE AT LAST!!!!!!!!!

Filed under: Korea — Jeff in Korea at 2:02 pm on Friday, October 27, 2006

Late yesterday afternoon, I was released from my 5-week prison. I checked out of the hospital, went home and promptly fell asleep on my own soft, warm bed.

I have quite a few things to say about my hospital stay, my continuing recovery, and the continuing recovery of my bike. I will post on these and other topics as time allows.

Right now, I am just happy to be out of the hospital and crutching along.

Jeff,

A belated congratulations on regaining your bipedal status. Sort of.

We want video of you breakdancing now.

Glad to hear you are back home, Jeff. I think getting to this stage is so critical in recovering from a serious injury such as the ones you suffered. It will at times be quite exasperating, as you are used to there being enough space to move around, cooking and cleaning were so much easier before, etc., but it all gets better from here. Now would be the time to splurge on a cleaning lady (if you’re the neatnik sort), and remember to laugh at yourself — you have to take your comedy where you can get it!
