Registration Required

As many of you have noticed, I have now required that people register in order to leave comments.  I regret having to do that, but I really hate deleting a couple dozen spam comments per day.  Thanks for your understanding.

Jeff,

Or you could turn on the Askimet spam protection, which works quite well.

Alrightey then, let me be the first to leave an officially registered and logged in comment here.

Seems like a good idea to me. your new rules don’t do much to keep the riff-raff out [as I was obviously able to register and post very quickly, bwuhahaha] but it should help you to avoid some of the multiple user-id folks talking to themselves in comment after comment.

Rock on!

I don’t think he was talking about the so called ‘riff raff’ but the spaminators that leave comments like, “love your site, have you seen sites like these…”
