		<description>That's wild. I was talking to a coworker earlier and he said it was common for older people in Canada too! Also according to him animal food is prepared in more sanitary conditions than human food there! That is revolting.

Apparently, they cook it in Canada;)

I thought the only people to eat stuff like that are in movies such as MAD MAX and a couple of John Walters films.

Sick stuff indeed.

		<description>Yeah, it's kinda weird, but is it really any worse than the Korean "drink-your-own-urine" diet fad that blew through Seoul a few years ago?  Man, there must have been half a dozen different diet books for sale at the Kyobo touting this as a sure-fire remedy for obesity.

Given that Koreans are generally so much slimmer than Americans anyway I couldn't believe how many people I saw lining up to buy the books, but there's a strange fascination here for weird fads, and it sometimes seems the weirder it is, the more popular it becomes.</description>
