Words Mean Things - Or At Least They SHOULD…

Following up on my recent dismay at another odd attempt to combine to unrelated words into a third, somehow meaningful, new word, in this case “cinema” and “port” to create “Cineport”, I discuss this and other such linguistic oddities in the audio blog below.

What about Best Snow on Earth. The clear rip-off of the circus? That was by far our best slogan.

Greatest Snow on Earth!

I was driving around yesterday and saw this sign across a footbridge in Pusan:

“WORLD HOPE; WORLD PUSAN”

I’ve been waiting for them to use “Busan This!” Don’t spoil it for us, Jeff!

By the way, your voice is almost hypnotic…much different than what I imagined.

Greatest best same same. That’s kind of catchy actually. Perhaps I should try marketing that slogan to local city governments near me.
