Sorry, jtb. I dind't mean to spoil your fun. I know how tough it can be to find a bright spot in a day when the in-laws are in town.

;-)

But I gotta ask, why don't you look for more satisfaction in Roger Clemens? He also pitches there in the Lone Star State and for the "mere" 5 million dollars he made last year he posted an 18-4 record with 218 strikeouts. And he's like what, 70 or 80 years old now too.

Seems to me "The Rocket" in his old age, pitching from a wheel chair with a feeding tube up his nose is still a much better deal than Park Chan Ho or Kim Byung Hyun will ever be.

By all means let's talk about Park, the 15 million dollar man.

Over the past 3 years beginning in 2002 season he's sported ERAs of 5.75, 7.58, and 5.46 respectively, and won a grand total of 14 games, while losing 18.

So he spanked the Yanks on Sunday. Big deal. Lots of teams are doing that this year, and they're probably doing it a lot cheaper than the Rangers and Park.

It wasn't too bad...just about 4 years too late.
for 15,000,000 dollars a year, he should be doing that ever 5 days.

Is this the place to bring up the spanking that Texas Rangers Pitcher Chan Ho Park gave to the Yankees over the weekend?

"Bad pitch. Bad location." That's classic. I'm gonna use that the next time someone does something really bad in the office.
