So while there is no 'conspiracy' to not report good news on Bush - there is a horribly strong correlation between being an American reporter and being anti-Bush. Jeff - Bush did seem to have improved a bit compared to his previous speeches, but that's not saying much (unfortunately). Folks are very forgiving of others ripping on Catholics right now, even Jay Leno makes some serious jabs that are not taken offensively. Because being anti-Cathlocism isn't taken as anti-Catholic-dogma right now. And typical for a Kerry remark, people will understand what they want to hear - not what the liar actually said.
